Journalists and media had been the source for current events, information, and political news for ages. They were highly regarded and admired for their unbiased compilation and distribution of facts.
Times have changed and the trust is broken
Circumstances have changed, media neutrality and fact reporting has become a thing of the past. Going so far from the world of fair and impartial reporting, they have transformed into creating and distributing content based on their opinions. Oftentimes media is used as an instrument for activism or as mouthpiece of political parties and propagandists. News aggregators too follow the same and readers are shown just one perspective most of the time.
News lab is on a mission to change that
We aggregate news from various news agencies (left leaning as well as right leaning) and present to the readers.
Journalists and media companies tracking and fact checking politicians is normal. We are not doing that, we let the readers rate and fact check the news, agencies and reporters instead.
We also track how agencies from foreign nations report news. Some of them blindly report from the established US agencies, thereby pushing the unsuspecting readers abroad towards the ideology they are trying to propagate here in the United States. A lot of times, this contributes to the animosity towards the people and leaders here.
To know how we track, aggregate and classify the news, reporters and agencies please read
What we do.
We are releasing a small section of our platform as part of this initial beta release. This will cover the current news with special focus on events and politics in the United States of America.
